The Board of Directors of the Bluewater Area Family
Health Team seek a dynamic and innovative
Administrator to lead the implementation and ongoing
operations of this new Family Health Team. The BAFHT
is a multi -disciplinary team providing a broad range of
health services in the Municipality of Bluewater, located
in Huron County. The Administrator will
• Act in human resource capacities, and administer
the hiring process for Medical Staff and Allied Health
Professionals
• Supervise staff and provide administrative and
management support to physicians and AHPs in the
delivery of preventative health and chronic disease
management programs
• Prepare financial and other operational reports,
budgets and grant applications and aid in program and
performance evaluations.
• Develop practices and procedures to help ensure
effective teamwork
• Provide support to the lead physician and other
team members in developing and maintaining working
relationships with various community partner agencies
This exciting leadership position requires university
or college level education, strong administrative skills,
experience establishing new programs and leading a
community based health or service organization.
Community liaison, the ability to work with a wide
range of individuals and groups, and experience in
Board relations are essential. Grant writing is an asset.

provide executive level support to the CAO
