BCH organization needs volunteers
CLINTON - The BCH (Bayfield-
Clinton-Hensall) Minor Hockey
Association announced recently
that it has an urgent need for vol-
unteers to fill key roles on its execu-
tive committee.
The association held its annual
general meeting May 6 and was not
able to fill a number of positions on
its executive.
Past president Wayne Smith, who
is stepping down from the presi-
dent's job after three seasons, says,
"This is a serious problem for BCH
and there could be major problems
keeping the program going unless
some good people step up. I have
been involved since BCH was
formed six years ago, and I can
honestly say the experience is quite
rewarding."
