A celebration of life service was held at the Granton -Wesley United Church on Sunday afternoon, May 25, officiated by pastor Paul Vollick. At Granton -Wesley United Church on Sun., May 25, the youth service was held and Pastor Vollick relaxed in the front pew. Taylor Jones led the service, assisted by Dylan Jones, David Hawley-Gatt, Meredith Dodds, Aaron Oxley, Andy McBurney and Andrew Oxley. Bill Thomson lit the Christ candle. On Wed., June 18, from 4 - 7 p.m., the annual beef and straw- berry supper will be held at the park. At St. Paul's Anglican Church in Kirkton, on the second Sunday after Pentecost, May 25, Rev. Dalice Sim led the service of the blessing of the motorcycles and the service of morning prayer. The message was about how God will provide for each day. Kate Henry read the Lessons.
