Inside, the double -height foyer gives an immediate feeling of airy elegance. A display ledge above provides an opportunity to soften the area with greenery or a collection of objects d'art. At the front of the home, formal living and dining rooms are located across the foyer from one another. The ideal setting for entertaining family and friends, these rooms offer plenty of space and the ability to move easily from room to ram. Alternatively, if entertaining is not a significant part of the family's life, the dining room could double as a den or home office. At the back of the house are the informal living areas, with the kitchen, breakfast nook and family room combining to form one bright open area for more casual activities. A walk-in pantry adds valuable storage space to the kitchen, where the U-shaped counter configuration will streamline meal preparation. Natural light will flood into the breakfast nook, set into a bay window overlooking the back garden. This will make the perfect spot for day-to-day family meals. The family room's gas fireplace will make it a cosy retreat during the cooler months, while a door opening onto a terrace will make al fresco meals and summertime barbecues easy. At the top of the stairway to the second floor, the view over railings to the downstairs, as well as the decorative oval window, will bring a feeling of light and airiness into the space. Immediately opposite the top of the stairs is the main bathroom, where double basins will ease the moming rush-hour. The master suite is a show -stopper. Picture a couple of rocking chairs or an old-fashioned loveseat in the bayed -out sitting area in the bedroom. A walk-in closet and a three-piece ensuite bathroom with a soaker tub complete the attractive lay -out. The secondary bedrooms, at the front of the house, are almost identical in size, with the addition of a desk area provided in Bedroom No. 2. The home measures 32 feet wide by 49 feet, 6 inches deep, for a total of 2,072 square feet of living space. Plans for design 7-3-872 are available for $699 (set of 5), $784 (set of 8) and $838 for a super set of 10. B.C. residents add 7% Prov. Sales Tax. Also add $25.00 for Priority charge within B.C. or $45.00 outside of B.C. Please add 5% G.S.T. or 13% H.S.T. (where applicable) to both the plan price and Priority charges.
