The Times Advocate, 2008-04-02, Page 2020 Times—Advocate Wednesday, April 2, 2008 Engaging youth in the arts workshop on April 15 CLINTON — Huron County's Heritage Culture Partnership is hosting "The Arts Network for Children and Youth (ANCY)" in Clinton April 15 and is co-ordinat- ing "An Inventory and Mapping Workshop" for the county's organizations and individuals who are working in the arts and youth services. The purpose of the workshop will be to bring together these organizations and individuals to "map" the arts programs and opportunities available to youth living in Huron County. The "Arts Network for Children and Youth" is a national non-profit community arts service organization. This Huron County Heritage Culture Partnership work- shop has been designed to appeal to both individuals and organizations involved or interested in the arts or having an interest in developing programs and services aimed at Huron County youth. The workshop partici- pants would include everyone from independent artists, arts instructors and music teachers to professional and community theatre groups, educators and school boards and municipally -sponsored programs. "One of our key goals in holding this kind of session is to bring together representatives from the local arts community together to tell us their stories and experi- ences" said ANCY executive director Linda Albright. cooking with memories BY DEBBY WAGLER I LIKE EASY MEALS, ESPECIALLY ON THE DAYS WHEN I AM WORKING AND COOKING ALL DAY.
