The officer stopped the vehicle and investigation confirmed that the driver was impaired. The driver was arrested for impaired dri- ving and was taken to a qualified Breathalyzer techni- cian where he provided two samples of his breath. The reading confirmed the driver was over the legal limit of 80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood in his system. A 22 -year-old Bluewater man has had his licence suspended for 90 days and will return to Exeter Court June 26, answering to one charge of driving with over 80 milligrams of alcohol and one charge of impaired driving.
