On March 20, around 7:30 p.m. a lone female attendant was working at Radford Fuels on Queen Street in Blyth and was preparing to close. An unknown female suspect approached on foot and stood outside the gas bar booth holding a handgun. She demanded that the attendant hand over the cash from the cash regis- ter. The attendant com- plied and an undisclosed quantity of money was handed to the female sus- pect. The female suspect then fled on foot heading westbound around the gas bar to King Street. At that location she met up with a male suspect. Witnesses then saw a dark green van travelling at a high rate of speed on King Street, towards Gypsy Line, heading out of town. Further information will be released as it becomes available. The investiga- tion is continuing.
