Choice steers and heifers sold 83 - 86 with sales to 93.25. Second cut sold 79 - 83. Cows sold on a strong active trade. Thursday Veal sold on a steady trade. Lambs sold on a strong active trade Sheep sold steady and goats sold slightly lower/less demand. Friday Calves and yearlings sold steady. Steers There were 400 steers on offer. Emerson L. The market at Denfield Livestock Sales traded on a good demand at slightly lower prices on the good fed cattle due to the strengthening dollar. With the fancy high yielding cat- tle in good demand at steady prices, cows and bulls traded sharply higher. A good run of holstein bull calves sold steady accord- ing to quality. Ross Duff, Croton sold 10 steers average weight 1505 average price 88.34 to a high of 90.75 purchased by Norwich Packers. Duncrief Farms, Denfield sold 18 steers average weight 1434 average price 83.77. Don Eedy and Mark Vanderploeg, Denfield sold 34 heifers average weight 1443 average price 86.86. Urquhart Farms, St. Marys sold 43 Heifers aver- age weight 1320 average price 84 sales to 89 pur- chased by Norwich Packers and 85.50 purchased by Ralph Bos Meats, Strathroy.
