(photos/Nina Van Lieshout) cooking with memories BY DEBBY WAGLER HOT DOG BOATS EVERYONE NEEDS A RECIPE ON HAND THAT IS EASY TO PREPARE AND SURPRISINGLY GOOD! THIS RECIPE IS A FAVORITE AT OUR HOUSE WITH LEFT OVER MASHED POTATOES. I CAN BE ACCUSED OF ACTUALLY MAKING EXTRA POTATOES AT OUR HOUSE JUST SO I CAN HAVE THESE. I package of hot dog wieners sliced almost through and placed on a baking sheet Mustard (spread over the wiener for those that like mustard) Leftover mashed potatoes (mixed with one egg, grated cheddar cheese) Put the potatoes over the open hot dog and then if you like sprinkle with additional grated cheese. Put in a 3S0 oven and bake for about 20 minutes till heated through. Serve up with a salad and you have one easy meal!
