FAHNER - Words cannot
express the kindness shown to
us in the sudden passing of our
dear brother, uncle and great-
uncle Don. Thanks so much
for the visits, phone calls,
flowers, cards, e-mails and
memorial donations. A special
thanks to Phyllis Bender and
Sharon Kingma for the food
brought to the farm. Also, to
the ladies of the Crediton
UCW for the funeral luncheon.
On behalf of our family we are
sincerely thankful to his co-
workers at Cold Spring Farms
and his close and dear friends
at Tokyo Joe's in Thamesford.
We would like to extend our
sincere thanks and appreciation
to Jim and Bob at the T. Harry
Hoffman & Sons Funeral
Home and to Tracy Whitson-
Babro for the comforting ser-
vice. Donnie was extremely
loved by all his family and
friends and will be truly missed
but not forgotten. The family

CRAWFORD - The family of
the late Basil Crawford wish to
extend our deepest apprecia-
tion to all who supported Basil
and us during his battle with
M.S. Our sincere appreciation
to the doctors, nurses and
physio department at South
Huron Hospital for the excel-
lent care provided to Basil. He
became a part of your hospital
family. Special thanks to Dr.
Maureen Farrell for that extra
special concern and for being
so readily available to us when
needed. Many thanks to the
VON volunteers for their
friendly visits. We would like
to thank our family and friends
for all of the cards, e-mails,
telephone calls, food, flower
arrangements, memorial dona-
tions and words of encourage-
ment. We enjoyed hearing
your memories of Basil. Also
our sincere appreciation to
Haskett Funeral Home for your
very professional services. We
would like to thank the pall-
bearers, Bill, Bob D., Bob J.,

for her reading, and Norma for

responses we have had at this
time of loss of our loving Mom
& Grandma, Great -Grandma &
Great -Great Grandma, Nola
Love of Grand Bend. The vis-
its, donations, kind thoughts,
words, food and floral tributes
have been a source of great
comfort. We are very appre-
ciative of the quick attention
from the ladies at Sauble
Court, the excellent care Mom
received at Exeter Hospital
during her short stay, the com-
passion of Bob, Jim and Cliff
of Hoffman's Funeral Home
and the funeral service by Bob
Heywood. We celebrated her
95+ years as did she, making
each day well lived. Thank

ROOBOL - The family of
Mary Roobol wish to convey
sincere thanks for all expres-
sions of sympathy extended to
us during our recent bereave-
ment. We are grateful for all

of Queensway Nursing and
Retirement Home. This was
Mom's home over the past sev-
eral years. We so much appre-
ciate the care and love given to

unfailing visits to her over the
years both at her own home
and at Queensway. To Rev.
Keith Lewis, thank you for
your comforting words. Carol

a bountiful and delicious

thank you for the kindness,
compassion and professional-

SMITH - The family of Larry
Smith are overwhelmed by
the outpouring of love, con-
cern, caring and friendship
shown in the loss of their
beloved husband, father and
grandfather. Thanks go to
friends who have shown such
great support in sending food
to our homes, cards, flowers
and the many phone calls,
kind words, and hugs. Also,
thank you for the many dona-
tions made in Larry's memo-
ry to the organizations that
were near and dear to Larry's
heart. We are so grateful to
St. Elizabeth Home Care and
especially Sherry and Julie
who showed such compassion
and understanding. We are
also grateful to the Doctors,
Nurses, and staff at L.H.S.C.
(Victoria Campus) who
helped care for Larry over the
past two years. We want to
thank Haskett Funeral Home
and Bill, Colin and Jacklyn
for their guidance and help
during the most difficult
days. A sincere thank you to
Rev. Paul Ross for his time
spent with us and for the
meaningful service. The
ladies at the United Church
prepared and served a lovely
lunch after the funeral and we
wish to thank them. To John
Morgan and the Exeter Fire
Department - Larry would be
so honoured to know that he
was going to be recognized in
such a special way. It was
truly a memorable farewell to
one who gave 25 years of
dedicated service. Larry was
a remarkable man. He will be
sorely missed by many -
especially his wife and family
to whom he gave uncondi-

PICKLES
Pickles is a 5 year old spayed female cat
that came into the shelter because one
of her family members had allergies. She
is a heavy girl, weighing around 18
pounds and would do best on weight
control food. Pickles is getting used to
the shelter environment but would love
to have her forever home soon.
