Visitors are most welcome also. The annual meeting of the Blue Water Rest Home held at the Mennonite Church last Wednesday was well attended and very informative. Ron Heimrich was chairman for the evening and gave a very good report as well as several others. Martha Craig, adminis- trator of the home, out- lined the plans via video screen for the future addi- tion which will be taking place at the Rest Home. It is going to be much bigger and really nice. Be sure to go and see the skating carnival at the Zurich Complex on Sun., March 16 at 2 p.m. with the theme "Dream A Little Dream With Me". Tickets are $5 for adults, $1 for kids 6-12 and five and under are free. Purchase your tickets from Pres. Kathy Steckle at 236-4080 or any club members. Tickets will also be avail- able at the door that day, so come out and see the children skating. Bring along a warm blanket to sit on as well. St. Peter's Lutheran Church is having its annu- al delicious roast beef sup- per on Sat., March 29 at 6 p.m. Adults are $12 and children ages 6-12 are $6 - under six are free. The church office or council members are selling the tickets now. There will be a musical program after- wards. Everyone is wel- come. The Blue Water Community Development 510 Help Wanted Foundation is planning to have a Cliff Gingerich Memorial Sauerkraut Supper at the Zurich Complex on Sat., April 12 at 7 p.m. Social hour starts at 6 p.m. and fol- lowing will be a dance by the Black Forest Band. Tickets are now available from Mark and Jodi Weigand at 236- 7454, any foundation member or at C.G. Farm Supply. Cost is $40 per person. Dinner will be catered by Jerry Rader. On Wed., March 19, the Zurich Diners will be hav- ing their Easter meal at noon at the Complex with Carol Steckle as the guest speaker. On the 26th, they will be playing bingo after lunch. On Mon., March 17, St. Patrick's Day, they will be making muffins and the Goderich Music Group will entertain them in the afternoon at 2:30 p.m. Bill Gibson of Hensall will play the piano on Tues., March 18 at 2:30 p.m. The Lutheran Church Ladies in Zurich will hold the monthly birthday party at 6:30 p.m. on March 18. POLICE BRIEFS Drywall sheets damaged LUCAN — On March 8 about 50 to 60 drywall sheets were damaged in two separate residences under construction. Feces thrown at car POPLAR HILL — Dog feces were thrown at a car, sitting in a driveway on Merton Road in Poplar Hill March 8. This is an ongoing mischief to the property over the past several months.
