At Hensall United Church, the service began with welcome and announcements and the passing of the peace. John McNeilly was the guest speaker. His mes- sage was "Travelling Light". Kathy Mann and Janice Alderdice received the offering. Bill Gibson was the organist. At Carmel Presbyterian Church, Rev. Andy Meinen was the minister, with Joyce Pepper play- ing the organ. On Friday, the World Day of Prayer was hosted by the PCW. Steve Hildebrand was the guest speaker. Ladies from Hensall United Church assisted with the service. A lunch and social time followed the meeting. Tickets are still avail- able for the Hensall and Community Horticultural Society's Annual Spring Workshop. The work- shop will be held on March 29 at 9:30 a.m. at Hensall United Church. Speakers are Janet Anderson of JEA Perennials, and Heather Wind -Mulder from Seeds of Diversity. The cost is $25 and includes morn- ing refreshments, lunch, door prizes and gift bags. Space is limited, so please phone 519-262- 2715 to reserve your ticket today. Ticket dead- line is March 22. Come out and enjoy the March meal at the Hensall Drop -In on March 20 at the Hensall United Church. Lunch will be served at 12 noon.
