POLICE BRIEF
Bayfield man fails
breathalyzer test
ZURICH — On March 1 Huron OPP officers
observed a Chevrolet pickup truck traveling west-
bound at a high rate of speed on the Main Street in
Zurich in Bluewater. The vehicle was stopped west
of Zurich. While the officer spoke to the driver, an
odour of an alcoholic beverage could be detected
coming from the driver's breath. The driver was
read a breath sample demand for the approved
screening device and the result was a fail for the
driver. The driver was then arrested and taken to
the Exeter Detachment where he provided two
more samples of his breath to a qualified
Breathalyzer Technician. The test results con-
firmed that the driver had over two times the legal
limit of 80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 mililitres
of blood in his system at the time he was driving. A
43 -year-old Bayfield man was charged with oper-
ating a motor vehicle with over 80 milligrams of
alcohol. His driver's licence was suspended for 90
days and his vehicle was towed from the scene. He
will appear in Exeter Court April 24.
PET ADOPTION BULLETIN
Huron OSPCA (Ontario Humane Society)
Tip Toes got her name because of the tiny bit of
white she has on her toes. The rest of her
colouring is brown tabby. She is very friendly and
is getting used to the shelter routine. She started
her life as a stray and was adopted through
another rescue group. She ended up here because
the family's' dog would just not get used to having
her around. If you think you can give Tip Toes a
forever home, please come in and see her.

here," adding, "It's so cool
to have the time, because
some of the work is so
intricate."
Jos says the "future of
jewellery is one -of -a -kind
or limited edition pieces,"
and according to Jacob,
"We're one, if not the only
one in Huron County that
makes jewellery from
beginning to end."
The coloured stones and
coloured diamonds, like
blue, red and black are
becoming popular, and
Jos says, "It's about time,"
with Jacob adding,
"Jewellery is back to a
super personal level."
"We're giving our cus-
tomers something that no
one else will have. The
sky's the limit," adds Jos.
Four Seasons Jewellery
Wholesale Direct To You
features jewellery sold at
wholesale direct prices.
It offers full repair ser-
vices, including full watch
repair services.
"All repairs are done on
the premises," says Tinka,
explaining it's more set-
tling for the customers
knowing that their items
are not sent anywhere
else for repairs, eliminat-
ing any chance of losing
the piece.
All of the gold and silver
comes from Italy, with
"half priced diamonds
always available." The
store also sells giftware.
Ben says after over 22
years of being in Exeter,
the store is "A special way
to give back. You don't
have to go to the big cities
to get jewellery," adding,
"I'm excited."
A Four Seasons website
is coming soon.
