DOROTHY VOLLAND
There is a bridge of memories,
From here to Heaven above,
That keeps you very close to us,
It's called the "Bridge of Love"
As time goes by without you,
And the days turn into years,
They hold a million memories,
And a thousand silent tears.
To us you were so special,
What more is there to say,
Except to wish with all our hearts,
That you were here today!
There will always be this heartache,
And often a silent tear,
We shall cherish those precious
memories,
Of the days when you were here.
Remembering you is easy,
We do it every day,
But missing you is a heartache,
That never goes away.
Beautiful memories are wonderful
things,
They last 'til the longest day,
They never wear out, they never get lost
and can never be given away.
To some you may be forgotten,
To others a part of the. past,
But to us who loved you and lost you,
Your memories will always last.
Forever missed, Always Remembered

2004.
If One More Day...
If we had, just one more day
It would be a day with no illness
and pain
Watching you stare in excite-
ment as we came through the
door
This we would embrace, as we
had so many times seen before
On this day, we would play a
game of golf
Listening to you give advice as if
it were Tiger himself
The awe we would experience to
see you swing the club
If we had, just one more day
Alyssa would give you a ride in
the Honda you left behind
Only to make a pit stop at the
"treat store"
If we had, just one more day
Bre would groove with you to
Mamba #5
If we had, just one more day
It would be Candace's wedding
day
The tux you would so proudly
wear
A dance with your daughter, the
waltz for sure
If we had, just one more day
We would remind you of how
much we love you
and how thankful we all are
For the great example of love
you inspired
We would tell you, "there is a
piece of you that lives on in all of
us"
As you'd proudly reply, "Of
course, you're just like your
Papas"
And now we know it to be true
How proud we are to be part of
you
If we had, just one more day.
Always loved and never forgot-
ten. Joe, Nancy, Candace,
Breanne, Alyssa Joy (9*)
