Choice steers and heifers sold 79 - 82 with sales to 87.25. Second cut sold 75 - 78. Cows sold steady. Thursday Veal sold sharply lower. Lambs sold lower, while sheep sold on a steady trade. Goats were too few to establish. Friday Calves sold on a strong market, while yearlings sold barely steady. Steers There were 422 steers on offer. Marvara Farms of Drayton consigned seven steers averaging 1454 lbs. selling for an average of 83.06 with one blk steers weighing 1330 lbs. selling for 84.75. Brockwood Farms of Centralia consigned 42 steers averaging 1473 lbs. selling for an average of 82.19 with three blk steers averaging 1428 lbs. selling for 84.50. Denfield Livestock Sales Denfield Livestock Market Report for Tues., Feb. 5. The market at Denfield Livestock sales traded on a good demand at steady to stronger prices on all classes of fed cattle. A good offering of cows traded strong at sharply higher prices, stock- ers were in good demand at fully steady prices, holstein bull calves showed a good improvement.
