I hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year. Welcome back to each and every one of you. On January 8 we heard music from Audrey Haugh. Lots of toe -tapping music and even saw a few dancing couples. Prizes were won by Andy Dougall, Harry Dougall, Irene Blackwell, Elsie Faulder and Mary Jacobe. Jim and Elaine Scott sang and played along with the keyboard and banjo on Jan. 15. Prizes were won by Annie Jean Johns, Kay Cockwill and Frances Ayotte. The seniors enjoyed these two weeks of musical talent. On Jan. 22 our guest speaker had to cancel due to the weather condi- tions. Faye did a number contest to test the skills of the seniors. They were very bright and never missed one answer. Prizes were won by Marion Skinner, Burdene Morgan and Greta Zwaan. We rounded off the month by playing a few games of bingo. There were several prizes won. We held a 50/50 draw which was won Don Adams. Birthdays for January were celebrated for Ray Jaques and Marion Skinner. Solo continues on Wednesdays at the Exeter Lions Youth Centre at 1 p.m. Anyone interested call Sandi at 235-0107. Foot care appointments can be made by contacting 235-0258. Keeping in shape Exercise continues at the Lion's Youth Centre on Wednesdays from 9 -10 a.m. and again at the Rec. Centre on Fridays from 9 -10 a.m. We are having exercise classes from 11:15 - 11:45 a.m. every Tuesday before Diners. Anyone who would like to join us for some easy stretching exercises, please feel free to come along.
