This position will conduct periodic reviews of the effectiveness of the controls for the operational budget, general ledger and financial statements. Under the direction of the Finance Management team, the Finance Officer will investigate and analyze problems and issues as assigned. I LIKE TO TRY A LOT OF DIFFERENT ONES AND I ALWAYS ENJOY FINDING A NEW, GREAT TASTING ONE. THE FOLLOWING RECIPE TAKES ME BACK TO AN OLD RECIPE THAT I GOT FROM MY MOM. I CAN REMEMBER THINKING THAT IT IS PROBABLY A GOOD HEALTHY ONE WITH THE WHEAT GERM! REGARDLESS IT IS A MUFFIN WITH A CRUNCH AND VERY GOOD! 3 mashed bananas 1-1/4 cup flour Vl cup br. Sugar 1/1 cup wheat germ 1 tsp each of baking powder, baking soda and vanilla 1/3 cup margarine 1 egg 1/4 cup water 1/1 cup raisins or chocolate chips (optional) Mix dry ingredients together and then add to wet ingredients and stir till lumpy. Put in greased muffin tins and then sprinkle the top with the following two ingredients mixed together 1/4 cup white sugar 1 tsp cinnamon Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes. Guest speaker gives exercise tips Kendra is an Athletic Therapist. She said that she is always looking for volunteers to help the residents at the Exeter Villa do their exercises, if anyone is interested. She also explained about a portable Laser Device they have, and gave the members some good tips about exercise. Olga thanked Kendra and read "New Year Wishes." The meeting closed with "The Senior's Prayer." The February meeting will be held at the Exeter legion on Tues., Feb. 5 at 6 p.m. All people over 50 are welcome to attend. As always a great potluck meal and talented enter- tainment will follow.
