Tyke Tournament
Tyke White
First Game:
Exeter 7 versus
Mount Brydges Gold 5
Goals: Carter
McLlwain (5), James
Boyle, Luke Andrews
Assists: Justin
Godwin, Jared Myatte
Comments: Well
done Sabres! In a fast
paced game Exeter
outskated Mt. Brydges
to move into the A
Division of the tourna-
ment. Lots of hustle
and enthusiasm. Some
key saves made by
Dylan Relouw in goal
to keep the victory.
Game two
Exeter 2 versus Mt.
Brydges Blue 10
Goals: Dylan Relouw,
Luke Andrews
Comments: What a
fast team to be up
against to get to the A
final. The game was
closer than the score
as our team had sever-
al close chances but
couldn't get any lucky
bounces. Lots of great
saves by Justin Godwin
as Mt. Brydges had
many breakaways.
Great effort team. You
did us proud!

The Sabres played a
strong game with lots
of end to end action.
Justin Pym was spec-
tacular in net making
some incredible saves.
The forechecking and
backchecking by the
Sabres was some of
their best of the sea-
son. The Super -Sport
of the game award was
given to Liam
McGregor for his con-
tinuous efforts to get
the puck every shift.
Great first game of the
tournament!

The fans had lots of
excitement throughout
this game with each
team fighting for the
lead. Nolan Regier
made some great saves
against some tough
Ilderton shots. The
Sabers made a come
back from a three -goal
deficit to tie the game
6-6 with only six min-
utes left. This kept the
fans on the edge of
their seats even when
Ilderton managed to
sneak in their seventh
goal. Congratulations
to Colin Regier for
receiving the Super -
Sport award. This
Sabres team has made
huge improvements,
and each player
deserved the trophies
they received.
