Summary
Tuesday
Fed steers and heifers sold $1-$2 higher. Choice
steers and heifers sold 82 - 85 with sales to 89.
Second cut sold 78 - 81. Cows sold on a steady
trade.
Thursday
Veal sold on a good active trade. Lambs, sheep
and goats sold steady.
Friday
Calves and yearlings sold on a steady trade.

There were 459 steers on offer.

The market at Denfield Livestock sales
traded actively at prices $2 - $3 higher
from the weekend close on all classes of
fed cattle, with the fancy cattle in good
demand at premium prices. A large
offering of cows traded $2 - $3 higher,
stockers steady and holstein bull calves
fully steady.
