Exeter fire department busy
EXETER — South Huron firefighters were busy the past few days with a
pair of fires to deal with.
The department was called out Saturday at 4 p.m. to Suntastic Hothouse
on Thames Road E.
Fire chief John Morgan said a pile of wood chips behind the building
spontaneously combusted and was put out with no damage to the business.
Monday morning, the department responded to a grease fire in a home at
86 Anne Street in Exeter, resulting in damage to the back of the structure.
