My favourite Christmas
memory is when I came
down the stairs two years
ago, to fmd my stocking
filled with lots of toys and a
beautiful fresh blanket of
snow on the ground. There
were fat snow flakes float-
ing gently down to the
ground. the tree was glow-
ing, and the fancy wrapped
presents beneath the tree
gave me a warm, fuzzy
feeling inside...the feeling
Isabelle Vanhie,

My favourite Christmas
memories are when I
opened up the presents

sister and brother.

My favourite Christmas
memory is when I wake up
and smell the sweet gentle
scent of the Christmas tree
and the ginger bread
crumbs that Santa ate.
Ian Dallier,
Grade 7

When I was younger, I
woke up early on
Christmas morning. My
mom told me not to look
outside, which I did.
Amazingly, there was the
most awesome gift there
a trampoline!!!
Keith Snell,
Huron Centennial
My favourite Christmas
memory has got to be on
Christmas morning, when I
round the corner of my
bedroom to see the elegant
Christmas tree standing
tall, with colourful lights
ablaze. I see the presents
of every shape and size,
begging to be torn open.
The snow on the ground
outside shimmering by the
sunrise in the east. That is
my favourite Christmas
memory.
Sara Nogueira,
Grade I
Exeter Public
Putting the Christmas
tree up with all of the
lights, candy canes and
stockings!
Cullen Mercer
Grade 5
Exeter Public
One of my favourite
Christmas memories was
in 2004. All of my family
was up and we were all
walking downstairs,
excitement building inside
us. We walked down the
stairs and I turned into
the family room, when I
heard, "Wow, look at
that!"
I spun around and my
jaw dropped open. There
by my front door was the
present I had been hoping
for. It was right in front of
my eyes, but I still could-
n't believe it. I had gotten
a dirt bike!
I ran to it and it felt
awesome just sitting on it!
It was perfect. It was
awesome. It was amazing,
and it was what I had
hoped for.
And that's why that
Christmas in 2004 was
one of my favourite
Christmases ever!
Alysha Kipfer
Huron Centennial
My favourite Christmas
memory is every year for
our Christmas party, we
play volleyball and other
games in the gym. It's real-
ly fun! The other thing I
remember most is last year
I woke up at about 3:30
a.m. in the morning and
went out and looked at my
gifts!

One year my brother was
not living at home. I prayed
and prayed that he would
come home. Shortly before
Christmas, there he was!
Taylor Spade,
Huron Centennial
My favourite Christmas
memory is when we would
go to my grandma's house
and all the kids played out-
side in the snow and
jumped off the back deck
and into the snow below.
After we played outside,
we came inside and had
hot chocolate while we sat
around the Christmas tree
