Christmas light tour Dec. 12 and 13
HENSALL — Queensway's
Volunteer Auxiliary members
gathered for their regular
monthly meeting Tuesday morn-
ing and an appreciation
Christmas brunch. These women
provide many volunteer hours of
assistance with breakfast
groups, church, euchre, visiting,
parties, manicures, and much
more to enhance residents' lives.
They are an integral part of pro-
grams offered at Queensway.
Fun and Fitness started the
week for residents Monday
morning in the sunroom as they
worked their way through the
exercise program. In the after-
noon several gathered for some
pampering hand soaks, mas-
sages and manicures.
Tuesday afternoon with the
scheduled speaker unable to
attend due to the blustery
weather residents brought
favourite Scriptures to read and
a devotional from our Daily
Bread was presented at the
church service. Volunteer pianist
was Idella Gabel.
Volunteer Donna Smale had a
great turnout for the regular
afternoon of euchre. It's wonder-
ful when family members join in
for euchre and various other
games in the cheerful Unit
Dining Room.
Through the big windows
there's also lots of action to
observe with the birds and squir-
rels competing for time at the
feeders. Thankyou to Stephen
Dennome for the donation of a
big bag of cracked corn for our
feeders.
Coffee and current events was
held Thursday morning followed
by food committee when resi-
dents offered their opinions and
input regarding meals and
snacks and preferences for
refreshments at special events.
They are looking forward to the
seasonal treat of eggnog and
special Christmas baking.

vidually. In the afternoon
