`Santa. Claus in Hensall' on Sat., Dec. 15

HENSALL - Come out and enjoy
the December meal at the Hensall
Drop -In on Dec. 13 at Hensall
United Church. Lunch will be
served at 12 noon. Following
lunch we will be hearing from
Bob Heywood. Come on out for
the fellowship and great food.
We welcome all local individuals
to this luncheon. Please note the
date change. The cost is $6 per
person. If required, transporta-
tion can be provided. To make
reservations contact Kay Mock at
262-3231 or Faye Skinner at 235-
0258 by noon on Mon., Dec. 10.
At Hensall United Church ser-
vice began with an organ pre-
lude, welcome and announce-
ments, and the passing of the
peace. Rev. Keith Lewis was the
minister, his sermon was "Good
Will To All Men". Cecil Pepper
was the greeter, Les Hills was the
reader and candle lighter. The
Hensall fundraiser — Hensall United Church held its Craft and Bake
Sale Saturday, hosted by the Friendship Circle and Friends.Above from

Works of art —The artwork of Biddulph Central students will be on
display at the Lucan Library for the next month as part of the regular

and choral amen.
Movie night
There will be a family movie
night at Carmel Presbyterian
Church on Fri., Dec. 14 at 7:30
p.m. The movie is "Miracle on
Thirty -Fourth Street". Admission
is free. Bring your family and
friends. Enjoy a Christmas clas-
sic on a large screen. Popcorn
and refreshments will be served.

Plans are shaping up for the
140th Annual Hensall Spring Fair
to be held on June 13-14 2008.

The Kinsmen Club of Hensall is
presenting "Santa Claus in
Hensall" on Sat., Dec. 15 in the
upstairs hall of Hensall Arena.
The event begins at 12 noon.
There will be chocolate milk, hot
dogs, movie entertainment, treats
from Santa, and Santa Claus him-
self. This event is sponsored by
the Kinsmen Club of Hensall.
At Carmel Presbyterian Church
Rev. Mervin Tubb was the guest
minister and also conducted
Communion. Rev. Andy Meinen
gave the reading and also lit the
candle. Joyce Pepper was the
organist. For those who missed
the White Gift Donation, gifts will
be welcome this Sunday.
