Huron Park business
break in
HURON PARK — Sometime during the night of
Dec. 1, suspects broke into the Parkbridge
Lifestyles Communities office on Algonquin Drive
in Huron Park. The suspect(s) entered the busi-
ness through a rear door on the north side of the
building. Once inside, the suspect(s) removed sev-
eral electronic devices and a cash box containing
a quantity of cash.

RIDE update
HURON — Huron OPP officers have been busy
dealing with poor weather and conducting regular
Festive RIDE checks. Since Nov. 30 nearly 400
vehicles have been checked in over a dozen sepa-
rate RIDE checks across the county. Two 12 -hour
suspensions were issued after three separate
roadside Alcotest demands were made by officers.
One person was charged with driving with over 80

after the arrest revealed that the 53 -year-old
Goderich man entered the RIDE check at over two
times the legal limit of 80 mgs. He will appear in
Goderich Court Feb. 7 to answer to his charge.
