Keith Tyndall played the drums, Gladys alternated between piano and accordion with George Turner as soloist. The birthday party is nor- mally the fourth Thursday of each month but with the dire weather predic- tions Thursday morning on the radio we decided to reschedule for Friday afternoon. Fun and Fitness started the week for residents Monday morning with a full range of motion work- out, followed by quizzes and games designed to stimulate mental function. In the afternoon the women of Exeter Bethel Reform Church provided assistance with the bingo games and then had a hymn sing. Registered Massage Therapist Lori Burt was in Monday as well bringing her soothing skills to several apprecia- tive residents. Breakfast group met Tuesday morning over a delicious meal of fruit, eggs made to order, sausage, raisin toast, juice, coffee and tea. Residents enjoyed visiting with others that they don't normally dine with. In the afternoon the church ser- vice was led by Shirley Luther of the Salvation Army with her husband Eric as volunteer pianist. Auxiliary volunteer, Donna Smale organized the euchre players Wednesday afternoon and residents also benefited from friendly visiting. The Thursday morning coffee and current events group drew residents who enjoy perusing the weekly and daily papers and voic- ing their opinions on items in the news. In the after- noon one - to - one pro- grams included reading, visits and manicures. Everyone is looking for- ward to the Christmas Light Tours coming up in December.
