Crediton Hall on Wed.,
Nov. 7. President was
in charge for the busi-
ness meeting.

Guest speaker for the
evening was Kendra
Craig. Her topic was
first aid. She
explained the proper
use of a sling. She told
of the kinds of wraps
needed and the many
uses it can be used for
in emergencies. She
talked about nose
bleeds and heart
attacks (signs and
symptoms) CPR, and
when to call the
0 M ambulance.

for the first
48 hours for a
sprain or strain and to
use crutches if neces-
sary to take the weight
off the area. A good
rule of thumb is rest,
ice, compression and
elevation.
Kendra answered
many questions and
was thanked by Cheryl
MacLeod. The next
meeting is a pot luck
supper on Dec. 19 at
6:30 p.m. at the
Crediton Hall with hus-
bands or friends invit-
ed.

Agricultural Society will meet on
Wed., Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. in the audi-
torium of Hensall Arena to make
plans for the 140th Annual Hensall
Spring Fair to be held on June 13-14
Nov. 18 at 10 a.m. The guest speak-
er will be Rev. John Hoberts of
Belgrave. There will be special
music with members of the old
choir. Donna St. John will be the
soloist. Everyone welcome.
The Hensall and Community
Horticultural Society pot -luck sup-
per will be held at Hensall United
Church on Nov. 25 at 5:30 p.m.
Turkey and potatoes will be sup-
plied. The guest speaker will be
Kari Sue MacLean.
Remembrance Day Service was
held at Carmel Presbyterian Church.

musical talents were Joyce Pepper,
Dorothy Taylor, soloist Amanda
Meinen, and the choir of Pat Pollock,
Bev Moir, Marg Baker, Marilyn
Campbell, Lola Nixon, and Marg
Varley. There was a special time for
children when they visited with Rev.
Andy about this special day. The
sermon was "Remember". The
offering was received by Harry Moir,
Frank Varley, and Robert Bell. Rev.
Keith read from Samuel 1:17-27
and John 15:9-17. The service
closed with benediction and God
Save The Queen.
