Mayors and
Reeves dinner
GODERICH — On Nov. 21, area
residents will get a chance to meet
and greet with all the mayors and
reeves of the County of Huron as
well as to raise money for the Huron
United Way at the Knights of
Columbus Hall at 390 Parsons Court
in Goderich.
The format of the evening allows
each mayor or reeve to speak for a
few moments about themselves and
then the fun begins.
This will be the opportunity to
share little known `factoids' about
your favourite local politician.
Whether you are from North
Huron, South Huron, Seaforth or
Goderich, there will be something
for you to enjoy.
During dinner there will be a silent
auction, with a focus on items from
Huron County.
Some of the items include a
Canadian flag that has flown at
Parliament accompanied with it's
own special plaque, local municipal
flags, local art and more.
Tickets are $50 each with a $20
tax receipt and all proceeds go to
the Huron United Way.
