Regional medal winners were back from left, second grade 6 -Nicole Willis, first Grade 6 - Nicole Hamather, second Grade 8 -Sarah Irons, first grade 8-Cayley Mercer and third Grade 8-Becca Reid. In front are second Grade 2 - Jakob Partridge, second Grade 3 -Rebecca Runhart, first grade 5 -Cullen Mercer, second Grade 4 -Jon Baker and third Grade 4 -Jarrett Baker. In the board meet, Cayley Mercer also took third and Irons took fourth for Grade 8 while Hamather took 10th for Grade 6 and Cullen Mercer placed first in Grade 5. Missing are Nathan Runhart who placed third in Grade 6 andTaylorWilson who placed first in Grade 5 in the regional meet. Strong checking and great passing in the first half of the game lead to a 4-1 Exeter lead, but the Chatham offense proved too creative for the Exeter defensive corps. Rachel Peet had a great defensive game, making the Chatham forwards work hard in our zone. versus Taylor Oct. 21 in London Exeter 6 versus London 3 Goals: Taylor Hoffman (2), Josie Kinsman (2), Sydney Kinsman, and Sara McEwan After falling behind in the first minute and being behind 2-1 after the first period, Exeter rallied with two quick goals in the second period and never looked back! Chelsea Brintnell was stellar in the goal and Becca Reid and Megan Verbeke had huge games. With a record of 1-1- 1 and 10 goals scored in three games, the Tween A team has had a strong start to their season. Their next league game will be Nov. 4 at 4 p.m. against Elora -Fergus in Fergus. Keep up the hard work girls, we'll get them next weekend. Marrisa in goals was awe- some making many great saves.
