Court action - South Huron District High School volleyball teams hosted teams from Clinton and Central
Huron Oct. 4.The SHDHS junior boys beat St.Anne's 2-1 and won all three sets against Central Huron to
improve their record to 1 6-2. The Panthers are at home again Thursday when they host St. Mike's and Listowel

EXETER - The South
Huron District High
School senior boys vol-
leyball team was at
home Oct. 9 hosting St.
Annes and Central
Huron.
In the first match
South Huron defeated
St. Annes three straight
by scores of 25-9, 25-
19 and 25-16 before
posting three wins over
Central Huron with
scores of 25-23, 25-12
and 25-19.
The wins give the
Panthers a record of 14
wins and four losses.
Coach Scott Halpenny
said outstanding play-
ers were Ben Toornstra
with good blocking and
middle hits and Bryce
Halpenny with consis-
tent setting.
Grant Masse also pro-
vided strong left side
hitting and good pass-
ing said Halpenny who
added the team put in a
great effort with good
serving and the ability
to continue steady play.
The team is in action
again Thursday when
they host Listowel and
St. Mikes.

Adult skating lessons
are in Zurich available
from October to March,
Saturday mornings from
11:50 a.m. to 12:50 p.m.
There are adults only on
the ice at this time with
instructions by a certified
Skate Canada coach.
Skaters can learn at
their own pace and level,
including how to stop, do
turns, skate backwards,
dance, spins and jumps.
Skate Canada testing is
also available.
