be held on Wednesday, October 10th at
11:00 AM with Rev. Judith Ritchie offici-

Kats, formerly of Exeter in her 69th year.
Beloved daughter of the late John and
Geesje Kats. Dear sister-in-law of John
Lamberink of RR 3 Puslinch. Also sur-
vived by nieces and nephews. Predeceased
by her sister Siene Lamberink. Dear friend
of Peter and Helen Toornstra of Exeter.

was held on October 9, 2007. Pastor Jim
Vellenga officiated. Interment Exeter

Parsons of Centralia in his 47th year.
Beloved husband and best friend of Lynne

friends. Mike was passionate about family
and work. He took over the family busi-
ness in 1990 operating as Mike Parsons
Landscaping. He learned the skills of the
trade from the best, his dad. Mike had a
reputation for going the extra mile and it
showed in every job he completed. Friends

William Street, Exeter on Wednesday 2-4
and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will
be held on Thursday, October llth at 11
AM with Bob Heywood officiating.

Fellowship and
great food

HENSALL CORRESPONDENT
HENSALL - There will be a con-
gregational meeting at Hensall
United Church on Oct. 17 at 7p.m.
Everyone is invited to come out to
this informative meeting.
Due to lack of volunteers, there
will be no leaf -machine pick-up in
Hensall this autumn. The munici-
pality will collect leaves that are
placed on the curb in clear plastic
bags.
The PCW of Carmel Presbyterian
Church met on Wednesday at
Millington's in Brucefield.
Following lunch they returned to
church where they held their
October meeting. Marg Baker gave
the worship, plans were discussed
for catering, "Happy Birthday" was
sung to Rachel Schwalm and a
birthday cake was shared.
Communion service will be held
at Carmel Presbyterian Church on
Oct. 14.
Fall meal
Come out and enjoy a fall meal at
the Hensall Drop -In on Oct. 18 at
the Hensall United Church. Lunch
will be served at 12 110011. Following
lunch we will be hearing from Deb
Campbell. We hope you will all
participate. Come on out for the
fellowship and great food. We wel-
come all local individuals to this
luncheon, held on the third
Thursday of each month. Please
note, the price of this meal has
gone up one dollar. The cost is $6
per person. If required, transporta-
tion can be provided. To make
