(photo/submitted) Girls soccer — The South Huron 1 Lightning had an incredible season finishing as season champs and Challenge Cup runners up.After starting the season with two losses the team rebounded to string together 14 consecutive wins. Despite a tough draw; which included back -to -back-to-back games in the Challenge Cup, South Huron managed to make it to the finals. In the final game South Huron allowed their first goal of the tourney and although they out- played their opposition they could not muster a goal and were defeated. South Huron I should be proud of their season because they improved greatly, showed a lot of heart and never gave up.Well done girls.
