Fun for all at the annual Kirkton Fall Fair
Visiting the fair —Above,Thomas Pockett and Kate Gill attended the fair Saturday with
Pockett's sheltie, Levi. Below, RainaVingerhoeds of RRI Hensall was among those who
competed in the showmanship competition for the Kirkton 4-H Club.
Hitchin' a ride —The ever -popular pet show took place at the Kirkton

Getting creative — Eleven -year-olds Katelyn Selves, left, of Kirkton,
and Krista Mizzi of Exeter made their own scarecrow Saturday after-
noon. In other fair news, awards went to Arly Mitchell (Junior Baking
Champ), Jaimee Clarke (Princess of the Pumpkin Patch),Andrew
Hodgert (Prince of the Pumpkin Patch) and Taylor Simpson (Senior
Baking Champion). Jean Ratcliffe, a 60 -year member of the Kirkton
Women's Institute, was awarded aWoman of Excellence Fair Award for
her years of dedication.
