Walker family moves in to new home
HENSALL — After 13 weeks of
construction that started in June,
Jennifer, Katherine and Adam
Walker moved into their new
Huron County Habitat for
Humanity home on Brock Street
in Hensall on the weekend, follow-
ing an open house Friday night.
Hensall build committee chair-
person Marc Monforton said the
build went smoothly with few
problems and that the entire build
team needs to be commended.
Huron County Habitat is learn-
ing every time said Monforton and
its next house in Goderich will be
a semi-detached, which will be
another learning process,
although the method does offer a
lot of savings.
In 2009 Huron County Habitat
will be coming down the highway
to Exeter, said Monforton where
they are also hoping to build a
semi-detached if they can find a
lot.
