Ausable Bayfield Maitland Valley Drinking
Water Source Protection Region requires one
experienced Group Facilitator to deliver adult
education in a diverse group setting. The chosen
candidate will implement an engaging training
program for proposed regional, multi -stakeholder
working groups. Expected workload of part-time
contract is 10 days per month. Some travel within
Source Protection Region is required. Position is
expected to begin in mid to late September.
An additional project of Ausable Bayfield and
Maitland Valley Conservation Authorities requires
two persons for full-time, six-month contracts
to deliver Stewardship Education and Outreach
in local planning region to property owners
close to municipal wells and Goderich drinking
water intake. Staff may work at Maitland Valley's
Wroxeter office.
Outreach Specialist
Outreach Specialist will work directly with
business, agricultural and residential landowners
to implement voluntary stewardship projects.
Education Specialist
Education Specialist will prepare materials
and events to educate landowners in key areas
about ways they can help protect drinking water
sources.

POLICE BRIEFS
Property goes missing
after a hosted party
LAMBTON — A Lambton Shores couple lost an esti-
mated $1.,700 worth of property after they hosted a
house party for their 15 -year-old daughter Aug. 24.
The house party was organized, where as many as 30
teens attended. Sometime during or after the party
concluded, the items were stolen from the home. The
stolen items included a company owned IBM "Think
pad," Nikon Camera, " Blackberry" mobile phone and
and a second cellular phone. There are no suspects.
