MOUNT CARMEL — An elderly cou-
ple were found slain Monday in a
farmhouse on Bronson Line in Stephen
Township between Crediton Road and
South Road.
Police refused to identify the couple,
believed to be husband and wife but
neighbours and friends close to the
couple say they are Bill and Helene
Regier of Mount Carmel, longtime resi-
scene, swarming the farmhouse for several
hours.
Bronson Line was blocked off
between Crediton Road and
South Road as the OPP Criminal
Investigation Branch under the
direction of Detective Inspector
Dave Cardwell and the Huron
OPP Crime Unit continued its
investigation.
The bodies were found after a
five -kilometre -wide search of the
area between Ausable Line and
dents of the area. Jesse (meson
More than a dozen officers were on
Norman Imeson of Windsor.
Imeson is wanted for a Windsor slaying of
26 -year-old Carlos Rivera of LaSalle, who was
found strangled to death July 19.
The OPP reignited its police search Monday,
considering Imeson a person of interest in the
wake of the Huron slayings, but would not say
if he is a suspect.
Residents were also concerned after hearing
a third body was found north of the slayings.
Huron County OPP Const. Jeff Walraven
says there is no connection between the inci-
dences, explaining, "the other body is not sus -
Parr Line north of Mount Carmel picious."
