EXETER — The Exeter

Blyth Festival with a
sneak peek at the Exeter
Library.
The Exeter Library is

scene from "Reverend
Jonah" by Paul Ciufo of
Grand Bend. Ciufo also
works in Exeter.
The play opens in Blyth
Aug. 8, running until
Sept. 1.

aiming to utilize the
library while getting the
community interested in
the Blyth Festival.
James Edlington is
donating desserts for the
evening which begins at
6:30 p.m. The sneak
peek is from 7 to 8 p.m.

director Eric Coates and

for "Reverend Jonah."
Coates, along with a
couple of community
actors, will perform the
sneak peek.
"Reverend Jonah" is a
play surrounding Gilivray
United Church which is
in a typical small town in
Ontario.
When
Reverend
Jonah
arrives at
the
church, he
meets Phyllis who is a
hard-bitten survivor who
was kicked out of the
church 10 years earlier.
Reverend Jonah is
determined to help her,
discovering soon that his
happy flock is secretly
plagued by fear and
guilt.

Huron OSPCA (Ontario Humane Society)
ELFIE
Effie is a 1 -year-old male, neutered, domestic
shorthaired, white with black cat. Elfie was given up by
his owner due to health and financial problems. He
came into the shelter with his mom, Amanda. Ellie is
great cat and full of spunk. He seems to be addicted to
cat nip and really lets loose upon receiving a dose. Elfie
was a bit shy at first and had difficult adjusting to his
new home at the shelter. We hope that he can go to a
new home soon as he would be happier with a family.
