Lucan Biddulph collision
leaves three in hospital
LUCAN BIDDULPH — On July 15 at approximately
6:15 p.m., a two -vehicle collision occurred on
Elginfield Road in Lucan Biddulph. A Honda CLL was
following a tractor trailer unit eastbound on
Elginfield Road just east of the Denfield Road. A
Chevrolet Cavalier was westbound on Elginfield Road
when the Honda CLL pulled out to pass the tractor
trailer unit. The driver of the Chevrolet Cavalier
veered to the north ditch in an attempt to avoid the
Honda CLL, but the two vehicles collided. The driver
of the Honda CLL, a 26 -year-old male from London
and his 24 -year-old male passenger, also from
London, were transported by land ambulance to
London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Campus.
The driver sustained serious injuries and is in stable
condition in hospital. The passenger sustained seri-
ous life threatening injuries and remains in hospital
in critical condition. The 68 -year-old male driver of
the Chevrolet Cavalier and his 65 -year-old female
passenger were transported by land ambulance to
London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus.
The driver was treated and released while the female
passenger remains in hospital with non -life threaten-
ing injuries. The driver of the tractor trailer unit did
not stop at the collision scene and police are looking
for the driver to come forward, as a witness, and
provide further details regarding the collision.
Middlesex OPP officers continue to investigate.

Heavy equipment donation helps Habitat
HENSALL — Saturday
morning at the site of the
Hensall Habitat for
Humanity home build on
Brock Street, the owners
of Seaforth Manor and
Queensway Residence in
Hensall handed over the
keys for a Bobcat valued
at more than $15,000 to
Habitat for Humanity.
The Bobcat was bought
by the Ozimek family,
owners of the Seaforth
manor and Queensway
to help with renovations
and construction of their
facilities.
Once the renovations
were completed, the
Ozimeks debated what to
do with the machine and
decided that donating it
to Habitat for Humanity
Huron County was the
perfect choice.
"We had this great
machine and wanted to
donate it where it would
be put to good use," said
Ed Ozimek, president of
provincial long-term care
for the Seaforth and
Hensall residences.
"We admire Habitat for
Humanity's mission and

Ian Number 2-3-703A (R) SPACIOUS & GRACIOUS TWO STOREY Spacious and gracious, this two-storey family home features stone pilla s that flank the
ntrance, a stone chimney, partly mullioned windows and an exposed wooden truss at the front gable, all of which lend the structure a Tyrolean air. The covered
round -floor entrance, dramatized by the sweep of semi -circular steps at the front door, leads to a foyer roomy enough to include a bench and a coat cupboard.
n the right, an irregularly shaped den is fitted with a built-in desk, useful for homework or office work, and could provide the perfect spot for the family computer.
ehind the den is the laundry room and beyond that, an unfinished basement area that includes roughed -in plumbing for a bathroom. This will make it easy to add
.n in-law suite or bed -and -breakfast room, if local bylaws permit. A door in the foyer provides access to the two -car garage. An L-shaped staircase leads to the
.econd level, directly into the expansive open-plan family area. The great room, at the front of the house, includes a gas fireplace positioned so it can also be
njoyed from the kitchen and dining room. An entertainment unit at one side of the fireplace provides space for stereo and video equipment and accessories. A
oor off the great room opens to the covered front deck, expanding the living space in the warmer months. The dining room, immediately adjacent to the large
itchen, includes an optional buffet, sure to be appreciated when it's time to entertain guests. The kitchen's central island, always popular for the additional
orking and storage space it provides, includes an eating bar on two sides. An L-shaped counter configuration spells efficiency, with plenty of countertop space. A
antry is just around the corner from a convenient phone desk. A window over the double sink opens up the view across the sundeck to the back garden. From the
itchen, a door gives access to the sun deck, which is large enough that family members and guests will enjoy al fresco meals there during warm weather. The
aster suite is located at the front of the home, sharing access to the covered front deck, which
eatures a sloped ceiling. The homeowners are sure to enjoy stepping out onto this attractive outdoor
.pace. A walk-in closet contains built-in shelves, and the three-piece en suite separates the room from
he second and third bedrooms at the rear, which share a three-piece bathroom. The home measures
3 feet, 8 inches wide and 43 feet, 4 inches deep, for a total of 1,299 square feet of finished living
pace. Plans for design 2-3-703A are available for $496 (set of 5), $562 (set of 8) and $604 for a
.uper set of 10. B.C. residents add 7% Prov. Sales Tax. Also add $25.00 for Priority courier charges
ithin B.C. or $45.00 outside of B.C. Please add 6% G.S.T. or 14% H.S.T. (where applicable) to both
