Brian's Service Centre comes to Hensall
By Pat Bolen
TIMES -ADVOCATE STAFF
HENSALL — "We're
back," said Brian Kipfer
Saturday morning at the
grand opening of the new
location of Brian's Service
Centre on Highway 4 in
Hensall, after moving from
its previous location in
Dashwood where it was for
the last 24 years.
In front of a large crowd
and local dignitaries,
Kipfer remembered buying
a car at the same location
28 years ago when it was
Eric Campbell Ford.
Kipfer said the move has
been in the works for a
couple of years as the busi-
ness was looking for a
location with more traffic
and close to snowmobile
trails.
After originally looking in
Exeter but not being able
to put a deal together, "the
deal with Hensall came
along and I think it's been a good
move," said Kipfer.
Kipfer said the new location is
5,200 square feet compared to
3,600 square feet at its old location
where the business had outgrown
its building

Kipfer said he always wanted a
larger showroom.
Yamaha will be the major dealer
at the business but Kipfer said
Husqvarna chainsaws and lawn-
mowers will also be featured.
"We wanted to take the business
to the next level...the difference in
the traffic by our door is huge,"
said Kipfer.
Hensall has been very supportive,
said Kipfer.
"We feel the location is going to
be excellent...we were very pleased
with the crowd, probably 30 or 40
per cent more than I anticipated."
