Students visit Day Centre VBS coming to Granton
Penpals — Grade 3 students from Zurich Public and clients at the Adult Day Centre
at South Huron Hospital met June 21 after sending letters back and forth for a year.

quet held at the

evening, June 22.
At the Granton -Wesley
United Church on Sun.,
June 24 Pastor Paul
Vollick led the commu-
nion service. The mes-
sage was entitled "Teach
me to Pray" and the
Scripture reading was
from Luke 11. Michelle
McBurney lit the Christ
candle. The ministry of
music by the choir was
Draw a Circle Wide. The
theme of the children's
time was Tallit.
Paul Vollick has gradu-
ated from his training
program and is now a
Designated Minister at
Granton -Wesley United
Church.
The Vacation Bible
School is planned for
July 30 to Aug. 3 each
morning at the church
and the theme this year
is "Water."
At St. Paul's Anglican
Church in Kirkton on
Sun., June 24, Rev.
Dalice Sim celebrated
the Holy Eucharist and
gave a report about the
five motions on the floor
at Synod concerning the
blessing of same sex
unions. The lessons were
read by Kate Henry.
The Scripture
Readings
were
from
Isaiah 40, Acts 13 and
Luke One. There will not

July and will resume the

will be held during the
summer at St. James
