She is very quiet and sweet and loves to be held and petted. She has learned to tolerate other cats in the shelter, and loves to be a substitute mommy to all the kittens. EXETER The Educational Blues Band, designed to introduce elementary students to blues by teaching the history and cultural significance of the musical art form, played at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School May 3 I . St. Boniface students also attend- ed the performance.The students enjoyed the show while learning about the blues during the hour long concert, often getting up to sing and dance along with the music. (photos/Nina Van Lieshout) Bayfield man charged after street race MISSISSAUGA — A 39 -year-old Bayfield man has been charged with dangerous dri- ving causing death and two counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm, reports The Toronto Star. The Bayfield man and his brother 31 - year -old Peter Kippax, originally of England were according to Peel Police involved in a street race with each other Saturday night. The cousins were heading north on Mavis Road in Mississauga when Kippax, the driver of a black Porsche 911 lost control after crossing the intersection of Eglington Avenue, swerving into the opposite lane. His cousin, dri- ving a Mercedes was driving at a high speed, police confirm. Dr. Kraftcheck has been accepted by University of Toronto and will begin her resi- dency at St. Joseph's Hospital in Toronto, specializing in Family Medicine. She attended South Huron District High School, was awarded an Honours B.A. from Laurier University, and an M.A. from York University, where she pursed post- graduate studies in Child Clinical Psychology.
