The Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority officially unveiled the vehi- cle May 24 at MacNaughton park. The electric cart was donated by the Strang family in memory or Gordon Strang, whom ABCA officials said had a vision of the trail for the betterment of the community. Susanne Strang said she wanted to do something in her late husband's memory that reflected his love of nature. "I think this is a really great idea to do something for those people who can't easily walk the trail," she said. "It was great." The vehicle will be driven by vol- unteers Herman Steffens and Jerry Mathers who are looking for more drivers to assist them. Eligible individuals can book a time for a ride on the trail by calling the ABCA administration centre office at 235-1610. This list should contain any herbal products as well. You never know when this sort of information will be useful, especially in emergency situations. Some people are very allergic to stings and carry a pre -filled syringe of epinephrine in case of an emergency. There's a new product called Twinject, an automatic injector containing two doses of epinephrine. Some people may need a second dose to prevent anaphylactic shock and this syringe can supply it. Twinject is available in both adult and child strengths plus a toll-free number for advice. Have you checked your feet lately? If they hurt while walking or resting, lack feeling in some areas, are cold, pale, blue or swollen, have sores that don't heal or the skin is thick, dry, scaly, calloused or cracked, you could have circulation problems. See your doctor. A recent survey done in Saskatchewan found that one in five asthmatics do not have good control of their condition. If you are an asthmatic and are using your fast -acting bronchodilator sprays too often, you need to be checked. Huron Apothecary Ltd.
