Water Recycling repre-
sentative Wendy
Chapman was guest
speaker at the May
Grand Bend Women's
Institute meeting. During
her informative presenta-
tion they learned this
area has been recycling,
using the blue box for 17
years. Thirty seven
municipalities now use
this service. Blue Water
doesn't produce products
but sends materials to be
recycled.
There are 21 to 23
trucks collecting materi-
als -garbage and recy-
cling material. Wendy
explained the products
that are and are not to be
put in the recycling
boxes.
Check those numbers
on the bottom of the con-
tainers.
It was interesting to
learn that nine large

Women's Institute will
offer a Swedish weaving
short course on June 21.

this craft.
The group will partici-
pate on June 14 at the
Farmer's Market. Pies
and baked goods will be
prepared for this market.
The Zurich Fair display
project will be formed.
Bags of white beans for
table favours will be
made for the London
FWIO Conference in
August at Fanshawe
College. Material for
updating our website will
be collected.
The June meeting will
take the form of a
Garden Party.
The Huron South Picnic
is July 4 in Exeter hosted
by Hurondale WI.

FUDGE
Fudge is a male grey and white cat who is
approximately 1 year old. He is one of 18 cats
that were found in a home and one of 17 taken to
this shelter. He is a tall, slender boy who only
weighs about 8.5 pounds. He likes to be held and
is a bit timid in his new surroundings. He will be
neutered before going to his new home. He is
very playful and really ready for his forever home.

J.M.McBeath Funeral Home, Zurich/Hensall, and the Ausable Bayfield Conservation
Foundation plant trees at Klopp Commemorative Woods as a lasting tribute to those whose
funeral was held at our chapels. Names are kept in our memorial registry. Klopp
Commemorative Woods was established in 1999 to promote appreciation of local natural
heritage. Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority supervises maintenance of the area.
