history of both World Wars, the Exeter Legion, Stephen Township,
Exeter, UsborneTownship and Hensall.Above, Karen Knip of the

THAMES ROAD - About 30
ladies and girls gathered in
the church basement on
Wednesday evening to hon-
our Laura Skinner bride elect

read a nicely worded address
and Elizabeth Patterson
brought the many beautiful
and useful gifts to Laura.
Joyce Fulton gave two read-
ings; "Tips for Wives" and
"Advice to Husbands" which
were quite humorous.
After opening her gifts
Laura replied and invited
everyone to her reception
and dance at S. H. R.C.
Exeter June 17. Everyone
joined in singing "For She's A
Jolly Good Fellow".
The ladies then partook of
the delicious lunch and
enjoyed fellowship. There
were two pots of greenery on
the platform and blue bal-
loons and white bells hung
over the bridal chair.
