Youth Pilgrimage in 2005, and won the
national Mathieu Da Costa Historical
Writing Contest in Grade 10.
In addition to her extracurricular activi-
ties, Ally is an excellent student who has
earned numerous subject awards and
made the honour roll every year. Ally
plans to study drama at university in the
fall. Her proud parents are Richard and
Sheila Macgregor of Exeter.

Throughout her time at South Huron
Vicki has been active in many aspects of
school life. She served as the Student
Council activities co-ordinator and is the
chairperson of the formal committee this
year. Vicki has been involved with the
school shows since Grade 9, and is acting
as one of the stage managers for this
year's production of "Romeo and Juliet."

came to the school and participated in
the 30 Hour Famine for another 24

and energy to many good causes. She

first semester Tyson embarked on a tour
of Europe. In the fall he hopes to study
either engineering or screen writing.
Tyson is the son of Margrit and Tino
Breuer of Grand Bend.
Peter Zwart,
community member
Peter Zwart has been a fixture at school
music concerts at South Huron for more
than 10 years. He has regularly volun-
teered his time and equipment to tape the
concerts — this has allowed the student
musicians to hear their performances
and determine areas for improvement, a
key to the great success that the South
Huron music program has achieved.
Peter started recording music as a
hobby and volunteered his services when
his daughter Amy started music at South
Huron. He enjoys recording the concerts
and sharing them with the students, who
in turn enjoy the opportunity to hear
themselves play.
Before his retirement, Peter worked at
General Coach in Hensall, and drove
school bus part time. In the words of
South Huron music director Bob
Robilliard, "Peter is a good guy" and very
deserving of this award.
