105 Cards of
Thanks
BREAKER BREAKER - To
all my family, friends, rela-
tions and neighbours.
Thanks for keeping me in the
dark about my surprise 50th
Birthday Party. I thank my
wife Karen and daughter
Nichole for what they did to
make my party come true
without a hint to me. Once
again thanks to all for the
cards, gifts and best wishes
that made this such a special
evening. That's a Big 5..0..
Swabby (18*)
105 Cards of Thanks
DEVINE - "What a Wonderful
85th Birthday". Sincere
"thanks" to family and friends
for making my 85th birthday
special. The many cards, flow-
ers, surprise visits were most
enjoyable. A "special thank
you" to my wonderful family for
times together. God Bless
Everyone. Hedy (18*)
SHAPTON - We, the family,
want to thank relatives, neigh-
bours and friends for celebrating
the life of M. Bruce Shapton.
Bruce would have been pleasant-
ly surprised and pleased with the
support and prayers that you
have given to us. We want to
extend our special appreciation
to the St. Elizabeth Health Care
Nurses for their understanding.
Also, to the nurses and doctors of
South Huron, London Regional
Cancer Centre and London
Nuclear Medicine, we give
thanks. Your personal dona-
tions, tasty food, beautiful flow-
ers, phone calls and continuing
support are overwhelming. We
are very appreciative for the
lovely meal the night of the visi-
tation to Laurie Shapton, Marion
Dougall, Marg Stewart and
friends. Special thank you is
given to Rev. Paul Ross and
Wendy Noble who gave us
peace of mind before and after
his death. Anne Spivey, you
were the greatest playing the
chimes for Bruce. We are very
grateful for the Exeter United
Church Women for serving
lunch after the service "the
Shapton Way". To Bill Haskett

Home, we give thanks for your
special way of caring and help at

Dianne and Doug, Sandra and
Steve, Wayne and Dianne, Janet
and John, Bevan and Joan and

WATSON - I would like to
extend my gratitude for the sup-
port I received during recovery
from my hip replacement. To
my co-workers at Smith Peat
Roofing, the large re -coop pack-
age was interesting and creative.
To my so-called friends the safe-
ty meeting at the hospital was
productive, but the shaving team
telephone survey caught me off
guard for sure. For all the visits,
cards, flowers, fruit baskets and
collect phone calls I received
from family, friends relatives and
hockey team friends it was the
most hectic room on the floor for
sure. Now most of all to my
wife Shannon and my children
Ryan and Rachel, this operation
has been a long time in the mak-
ing and without your support and
sacrifices would not have hap-
pened. I'm always forever grate-
ful. GO HABS GO!! Robert G.

106 In Memoriam
FARQUHAR - In loving memo-
ry of the best mom and grandma,
Mary, who was taken suddenly
from us on May 4, 2005.
One year has passed since you
left us
and not a day goes by that you
are not in our thoughts and in our
hearts.
We miss you more than words
can say,
but feel safe in knowing that you
are with us each day, guiding,
watching, caring, loving.
Though there is always that
"empty" seat at the table,
the missing link in all our get
togethers and the calls that never
come,
you are there.
Every day, every celebration,
every laugh, every tear.
Always in our hearts, love Terri,
Darcy, Jayden, Madisson,
Brandon and Paiton (18*)
106 In Memoriam
MCTAVISH - In loving memory
of a dear husband, father, grand-
father and great-grandfather,
Gordon who passed away May
1, 2002.
As time unfolds another year
Memories keep you every near.
Silent thoughts of times together
Hold memories that will last for-
ever.
Forever in our hearts and
prayers. Dora, Nancy, Jim,
Mandy, Josh, Mara & Emma
(18*)
PFAFF - In loving memory of
Allen, a dear husband, Dad,
Grampa & great-Grampa, who
left us May 5, 1994.
If remembering brings you closer
Then you never went away.
For thoughts of you are with us,
Each and every day.
There will always be heartaches,
And often silent tears
But always precious memories,
Of the days when you were here.
We hold you close within our
hearts,
And there you will remain,
To walk with us throughout our
lives,
Until we meet again.
Please keep your arms around
him God,
And give him special care
Make up for all he suffered,
That seems to us unfair.
Sadly missed, never to be forgot-
ten, Doris and family. (18*)
STEWART - In loving memory
of our husband, father and grand-
father, John, who passed away
13 years ago today, May 3.
Never more will the wind
cherish you again,
never more will the rain.
Never more
shall we find you bright
in the snow and wind.
The snow is melted,
the snow is gone,
and you are flown:
Like a bird out of our hand
like a light out of our heart,
you are gone.
Always loved and never forgot-
ten by Rosemary, Brian and
Marilyn, Dianne and Daryl,
Leanne and Travis, Shea, Britt,
and Victoria. (18*)
STUART - In loving memory of
a dear husband and father, Terry
who passed away May 3, 1996.
Time slips by but memories stay,
Quietly remembered every day,
Happy thoughts of time together,
Memories that will last forever.
Love, Joan and Mark (18*)
