You may choose to use real whipped cream and notch
the salad up a degree! Just beat 1 cup whipped cream

Another nice twist is to add 1/2 pkg of cream cheese
to the whipped cream. WOW!

In the following way layer the trifle
ingredients in a large glass or trifle bowl.
Cake (torn into bite size pieces or cut in small
rounds)
A sprinkle of reserved juice or orange juice over
cake (very light)
1/3 or the fresh fruit or fruit cocktail
A layer of the pudding/whipped cream mixture
Repeat the layers two more times. Place a few fresh
berries on top if you like for decoration. Cover and let
sit refrigerated till ready to eat (3 or 4 hours is great).

ASSEMBLE. THIS PARTICULAR RECIPE CAME FROM ONE OF THOSE
DINNERS YOU GO TO, YOU TRY SOMETHING AND YOU SAY FABU-

IT IT WAS MADE WITH CANNED FRUIT COCKTAIL AND I HAVE
MADE IT THAT WAY MANY TIMES ALTHOUGH I HAVE MORE
RECENTLY SUBSTITUTED FRESH STRAWBERRIES, BLUEBERRIES

The property at Biddulph Central School got a whole lot greener last
week, with the planting of 143 white cedar trees. Students spent last
Thursday planting the trees, a project made possible through a $2,000
grant from the TD Friends of the Environment. Principal Patti Baker said
the trees will eventually act as a windbreaker for the property. Parent
Joanna John approached the school about the idea and said she is happy
the project is going ahead. Karen Pugh of the Upper Thames River
Conservation Authority spoke to the students about the benefits of
planting trees. She said the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority was
also involved. Pictured above from left with their cedar are Nicole
