Beloved husband of the late Vera Margaret (MacVicar) Drysdale (1985). Dear father of Jerry and wife Helen of RR 1 Dashwood and Paul and wife Yvonne of Lindsay. Loving grandfather of Melissa and Mike, Mark, Kerri and Kevin and great- grandfather of Allison and Natalie. Sadly missed by his best friend Bette Nielsen, sis- ter-in-law Helyn Drysdale and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents George Mark and Luella (Ortwein) Drysdale, brother John "Jack" Drysdale and sister Kathryn and her husband Barry Williams. Robert was a long time mem- ber of Huron Lodge 224, Scottish Rite (32nd Degree), Mocha Shriners and The Royal Order of Jesters. At Robert's request there will be no visitation or funeral ser- vice. Peacefully, at Lisaard House on April 21, 2006, after a courageous battle with can- cer, that she fought with digni- ty and grace. Beloved wife of Jim for 43 years; loving mother of Renee Finnen and her hus- band Bruce Banfield of Denver, Colorado, and Shelley Finnen of R.R. #2 Clinton, cherished grandmother of Benjamin Banfield; dear daughter of Eva and the late Alfred Hansford, and sister of Glenda and her husband Kenneth Emmerton of Massey, On. The funeral service to celebrate Dorrie's life and faith will be held at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Joanne Peppler officiating. A reception will be held in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home immediately following the service. Interment in Exeter Cemetery at a later date.
