Names" was sung. Murray

Zone 8 Rally in Dungannon on May 4
By Joan Beierling
VARNA CORRESPONDENT
VARNA - The folks of Varna and Goshen
area extend community condolences to
Marnie Walden's family, Pete and Colleen
and Brad and Liz. Marnie was laid to rest on
a beautiful spring morning, April 22 at the
Bayfield Cemetery. Sympathies are also
extended to Cameron Davis, family, Sharon
and Wayne, and the families of Russell
Taylor especially Jean Armstrong.
Denise, Zach and Kaitlin Hamill are wel-
comed to Varna as they take up
residence on the Parr Line.
Proud community congratula-
tions go out to Dan Keys on completion of a
four year Computer Science program at
Laurier University. Dan will be attending
Althouse College in the fall pursuing a career
in teaching.
Katrina and Brianne Merrier watch their
sister in the limelight once again winning sev-
eral dance awards. Congratulations McKayla!
Worship for the second Sunday of Easter
was at the Goshen Church. Pastor Elly spoke
to the children about being the church, and
how we work together. She had brought
along several props to illustrate the point -
single items from pairs, sets or groups. With
a little help the children realized that, one
shoe, one, glove, one castor, one domino, one
playing card etc were of little value on their
own. Being part of a church is being part of a
faith community. "Where two or three are
gathered...." Matthew 20:18
Organist Anna Keys did double duty Sunday
as she accompanied Pastor Elly for the wor-
ship service at Huronview in the
afternoon. But as Anna is a reg-
ular volunteer there, the resi-
dents are always pleased to see her and enjoy
her gifts of music.
Stan Lee members who plan to go to the
Zone 8 Rally in Dungannon on May 4 with
registration at 10 a.m. are reminded that the
$7 noon meal is to be paid in advance.
Attending members are asked to meet at
Marg Hayters at 9:20 am for car pooling.

SECURITIES LTG
New Location Open
It is in today's article that we are pleased to
announce that Gary Bean Securities has officially
entered a new era moving permanently into its new
location at the south end of Exeter. On Tuesday,
April 4th 2006, our entire team worked their first
full day in the new building and we will be there
every day from now on. While there are still many
details to complete, like the exterior landscaping
and the paving of the parking lot, we are all thrilled
that the transition is finally complete.
Over the course of the summer we will be having an
official grand opening and other community minded
events, but for now we would like to encourage all of
you to come and see us right away. Please feel free
to park directly out front and to come in through the
main entrance. We look forward to seeing you all
soon.
