Exeter United UCW
EXETER — The evening unit of Exeter United UCW
met Mon., April 3 in the ladies' parlour.
Devotions were conducted by Jean Goff, Leona
Morley, Gladys Richardson, Norma Hooper and Marg
Horner using Lent and the `Light of Darkness' as their
theme.
Leona introduced our associate minister, Wendy
Noble. Wendy loves to knit and combines her love of
knitting with prayer. She hopes to start a `Prayer
Shawl' ministry here if there is enough interest.
Unit leader, Marion Kerslake conducted the business.
She opened with a poem, "When April Smiles". Thirty-
six members and one visitor answered the roll by mod-
eling a favourite hat and telling a story about it. Plans
are being made for the smorgasbord dinner May 4.
Tickets are $10 and $11 for take out.
Elsie Hermann thanked everyone for their help on
April 2, our UCW Anniversary.
Gladys Talbot and her group served a tasty lunch to
complete the evening.

New Location Open
It is in today's article that we are pleased to
announce that Gary Bean Securities has officially
entered a new era moving permanently into its new
location at the south end of Exeter. On Tuesday,
April 4th 2006, our entire team worked their first
full day in the new building and we will be there
every day from now on. While there are still many
details to complete, like the exterior landscaping
and the paving of the parking lot, we are all thrilled
that the transition is finally complete.
Over the course of the summer we will be having an
official grand opening and other community minded
events, but for now we would like to encourage all of
you to come and see us right away. Please feel free
to park directly out front and to come in through the
main entrance. We look forward to seeing you all
soon.
