Beloved husband for 46 years of Marie (Johns) Fisher. Dearly loved father and father- in-law of Randy and Janice Fisher of Talbotville, Cindy (Fisher) Cousineau of Lucan and Jerry Cousineau of Lucan. Cherished grandfather of Thomas, Adam and Meredith Fisher; and Ryan, Graham, Marc and Chloe Cousineau. Ben was recording secretary of the Exeter Oddfellows Lodge #67, a member of Exeter United Church, and he enjoyed playing golf, watching his grandsons play hockey, and having breakfast with the gang. Leonard married Bernadean May 24, 1952 at her parent's home in Lucknow. He worked for Treleaven Feed Mill, Lloyd Doors and retired after 22 years of service as custodian of Lucknow High and Public Schools where Bernadean worked along side him for 20 years. Often seen with his girls in the early years out cutting grass as a small business. He served the Lucknow United Church as custodian for many years and elder in the church. Leonard enjoyed the outdoors, family camping trips and gar- dening. Funeral service was held from MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow, March 29, 2006 with Rev. Peggy Kinsman officat- ing. Spring interment Greenhill Cemetery, Lucknow. Readings by grandchildren Darlene & Lynn and eulogy by Daryl and Heather.
